However the Engine doesn't think this move is so bad} 11.Qd3 Nc5 12.Qc2 d6 13.Bg5 Ne6 14.Bxf6 Qxf6 {On 14...Nd4? I had intended 15.Qxh7+ Kxh7 16.Be4+} 15.e3 Ng5 16.h4 Ne6 17.Ne2 Rb8 18.Rd1 b6 19.Nc3 Nc7?! 20.Ne4! Qf5 21.Rxd6 {I would have liked to have been able to play 21.Bh3 but blacks gets 2 rooks for the queen. 21.Bh3 Qf3 22.Ng5 Qxh1+ 23.Ke2 Qxd1+} f6 22.O-O Bb7 23.Rc1 Ne6 24.Rd7 {I had spent a good 15 minutes before playing this move as it requires alot of accurate calculation to see everything that follows.} Nd4 {The critical response, however now after the smoke clears we will reach a rook and pawn ending with white retaining an extra pawn. Incidentally in this position the engine points out the fantastic queen sacrifice 25.Rxb7!! and I'll leave it up to the readers to analyse all the chaos that follows those lines (hint white wins in all lines) The thought had briefly crossed my mind, but I chose to go with my initial intention of 25.Nxf6+ as I could see it lead to a better ending} 25.Nxf6+ Rxf6 26.Qxf5 Ne2+ 27.Kf1 Bxg2+ {Best was actually 27...Rxf5 when white will sac will have to give up the exchange but whit the Bishop and 2 extra pawns the position is still favourable for white} 28.Kxg2 Rxf5 29.Rc2 Nxg3 30.Kxg3 Rf7 31.Rcd2 Rb7 32.Rd8+ Rf8 33.R2d7 Rxd8 34.Rxb7 Rd2 35.b4 Rc2 36.Rc7 h5 37.c5 bxc5 38.Rxc5 Ra2 39.Ra5 Kf7 40.b5 Rb2 41.Rxa7+ Kf6 42.a4 Rb4 43.Ra6+ Kf5 44.f3 e4 45.b6 exf3 46.Ra5+?? {A moment of chess blindness that needlessly drags out the win. I had thought this pushed the king back when Rb5 wins, however I overlooked that blacks king can come to e4. Instead 46.Kxf3 and white will win shortly} Ke4 47.Rb5?! {Transposing into the queen ending is probably a mistake from a practical view as now black now has very realistic drawing chances, especially given I only had 5 minutes on the clock} Rxb5 48.axb5 Kxe3 {Black offers a draw} 49.b7 f2 50.b8=Q f1=Q 51.Qe5+ Kd2?? {51...Kd3 and it's going to be extremely difficult for white to win} 52.Qf4+ {A good game by both players (BvR)} {#r}
